The staff have noticed that the current way our DDR works is not entirely fair. With the right items and donator rank, you can achieve 70+% DDR. We're thinking of lessening the rate from certain items and adding an additional cooldown between the DDR procs. Do you feel we're moving in the right direction with this change?

Thanks to the combined hard work of Advistane and Oki, we've finally got hiscores implemented on both the site and the client - as well as the exchange post implementation on the site to show all recent trades using the ingame trading post! Check it out here:

In the case of hiscores, you can now look up people ingame by right clicking them and using the Lookup function! Note that the client hiscores may not be adjusted for everyone because every single player has to have logged in and out by today to have it updated in our database.



This will open up the respective tab in the RuneLite client, in which we have tracked numerous things such as the player's stats, clue scroll completions, Wilderness kills, and boss kills!



You can also access the hiscores using the respective link on the top, and can be accessed anytime by using the upper navbar on the home page. You can search any user this way, as well as filter them using the respective filters as well as show some things that the client doesn't track such as tournament wins!





The exchange post page will also show all recent trades done in the ingame trading post, and we will be implementing this to show in certain RuneLite features such as ground items and examine prices in the near future.



Again, everyone should say thank you to the hard work of Advistane and Oki to get this feature working!

It's the day before release - and again, even though I've stated it so many times - I appreciate everyone for being a part of this small, dedicated community that has helped me leaps and bounds to get the server working properly and comfortable for you all to play. Today's update is rather minor in terms of content, but brings a lot of bugfixes as well.

You can now spectate a tournament in progress! To do so, click the purple portal that you would normally use to enter a tournament while a tournament is in progress; it will give you the option to do so. However, for the best viewing experience, use the command ::renderself so your player model doesn't overlap with the players you are spectating.



Some items have been added to the Donator enhancements store! They are as follows:

Custom title scroll - 200 points



Using this scroll will let you choose a new title to be placed before your name! You can set a 6-digit HTML color code and a 15-character text (spaces are allowed) to use as your title. Once used, the scroll is consumed. Please note that if there is a title deemed to be inappropriate, we will remove your title and request you to change it.

Bird Whisperer - 75 points, or a rare chance from looting a birdhouse

This perk will grant an increased chance at receiving birds' nests from birdhouses and decrease the time needed for a birdhouse to fill by 25%.

Pharmacist - 100 points

This perk will grant a 15% chance to double a potion while mixing potions.

Dragonstone armour from the Elven crystal chest now each gives 2% double drop rate per piece as well, to justify its rarity!

Birdhouses should now give a chance at birds' nests (up to 10!) depending on the birdhouse used, as well as guaranteed snape grass.

In other news:

- Ornamental pickaxes should now properly work at the Guardians chamber at COX.
- COX rewards are rebalanced; rare loots should now properly display to the party and announce to the server and on the Discord.
- Regular revitalisation potions should now be able to be used and created.
- The dark relic reward from COX can now be used to gain experience in the chosen skill.
- Crystal key chest rewards will now be announced on the Discord.
- Chronozon now has a proper death animation.
- The Lighthouse dungeon ladder should now work properly, and the lighthouse dagannoth dungeon has been added.
- Shayzien soldiers (tier 5) in the tent should now work properly to receive tier 5 Shayzien armour.
- Waterfiends have had their combat scripts adjusted to be more like OSRS.
- A crystal key chest has been added to the home bank, and a Mahogany tree to the Donator Island.
- The Fishing shop has had their feather and bait stocks adjusted.
- Server announcements now include who the most recent tournament winner is.
- Fixed an issue where Lizardman Shamans would not jump properly and its minions would inflict damage regardless of distance.
- Fixed an issue where trading post sales would display to the wrong players.
- Fixed an issue that gave an achievement popup everytime a Deviant spectre was slain.
- Fixed an issue where the Protect from Melee prayer would not properly nullify a Cave horror attack.
- Fixed an issue where webs would appear as cut but unwalkable to a player.
- Grace should now properly open up her shop when talked to.
- You should now be able to attack a player while you are in combat with a NPC in a Singles plus area.
- Keris should now properly deal 33% bonus damage and accuracy against Kalphites.
- Players should now properly receive their Veteran title and donator rank icons without having to relog.
- The quest tab should now properly show how many players are in a tournament. (But maybe not lobby...I should check this.)
- Opening magic notepaper packs while having multiple in the inventory should no longer consume all.
- You now have a chance to receive Crystal shards while training Herblore.
- The Ardougne cloak teleports should now work properly.
- The ZMI altar shortcut should now work peroply.
- Ancient shards should drop at twice the rate.
- Watermelon seeds should now plant properly.
- You can now properly purchase the Salve amulet (ei) recipe from the Slayer shop.
- Mithril bars should now only require 2 coal instead of 4.
- Examining noted items should now properly show its alch value.
- Exiting a tournament lobby should now properly remove the lobby players interface.
- Vet'ion projectiles should now be slower.

-Why we should choose you: The reason I feel like I should be a good candidate for the Staff team on Ethereal is due to the fact I love helping players out with information about the server as needed and I try to be as helpful as I can. I have reported bugs when found and will report players if need be that are toxic, rule breaking, ect. I would love to see this community thrive, grow, and improve more than it has already done. 
The Main reason I want to become staff is because of the people I see that our staff members already do such an amazing job with all the updates and events and in my opinion I feel like I could add onto that train and be helpful as much as I can be. I find myself very active and feel like I'm in the top for being active. I'm also decently active in the discord channel as well when needed. I know our community is growing currently due to events and staff members want to play the game as well rather than constantly doing staff business 24/7 so I know that having extra staff will be helpful and take a load off their shoulders. I also feel I may not yell ten to twenty times a day "pm me for help" or "let me know if anyone needs help" as I don't want to be seen as I'm doing that blatantly for the staff position as I know people in game can ask me anything if they feel the need to. I will admit I don't know everything about the server as I'm new as well but we're all here to learn and be helpful in the game we all love!

My name is Kenzy same as ign, im a swedish 21 year old male who lives in a town called Uppsala, i like to spend my free time with friends, game or at the gym and lift weights. i've been playing rs for as long as i can remember and my strongest rsps memory is when i played on a old server a couple years ago wich was known as Emps-Scape. Im a pretty chill guy who likes to help out and have a big rsps gambling addiction lmao so just hmp if ur down to loose some
On this server my main goal is just to help out as much as i can within the areas i can such as bringing a good energy and doing whatever gaphics design wich is needed. If  ur intrested in getting a signature for ur forum or such just hmp on discord and we could work something out for ing currency, i'll post some of my work down below. Im not much of a grinder so my stats aren't the best but im currently 1884 in total level. fun fact: ive never achived a single 99 on Runescape wich is pretty sad

I feel like I bring a positive energy and atmosphere to the server. I'm always keen and willing to help players and I try my best to encourage group activities such as tournaments and the vote boss. I think having an interactive community is vital to a server and I am always trying to think of new ways that can bring the community closer so that everyone can enjoy this amazing server together. I think I bring great ideas to the table in terms of content and balance, as well as forum ideas that can help increase forum activity. 
I've had prior experience as staff on other servers. My strengths are centered around community engagement and doing things related to creating a fun and happy environment.
Although I'm a new player, I'm always trying to learn more about the game, including tips and tricks on the server that I can use to share with others and new players. Why we should choose you: I used to be a forums mod on RSWebclients, the best website ever to host RapturePK. Most of the day I'm only on Discord or Forums, so I wouldn't be the best fit for a In-game mode or helper role. I think i'd fill the roles as either Supporter or Moderator since i have a big passion for responsibility. I love to help people out as much as i can and be the kind of staff people can rely on. Im very active on the server and as a player who joined when there was 4-5 players on at max i have alot of passion for the server and would do all i can to help it grow and make sure everyone on the server is having a great time.
